I don't understand why everything need to be taxed. Even buying some personal stuff from overseas also need to be taxed. I really don't get it. can't they just set a quota for personal use instead of mixing them up with business use.
It's even worse when you go to the Customs online website and refer to their tariffs code. It's not reliable at all. What is stated there is totally different from what the officer in charge said. It makes you so confuse. In the end, I rather choose not to buy. Because i'm sick of those emails.
Sigh.... I think won't buy things from overseas for time being. Too tedious. I hate keep emailing to the customs department to verify with them which items will be taxed.
