Caret Pore Concealing Skin Refinisher

I bought this tiny little tube out of impulse.

I think it is too expensive for such a small tube of pore concealer. RM9 for 3g. I only able to apply once on my face. Well, it doesn't conceal my pores very well though. It doesn't control the oil secretion on my face. My face is still so oily after using it. I thought it able to make my skin stays matte for at least half a day but i was wrong. I think i prefer to use Skinfood peach sake serum than using this.

I will never buy this pore concealer again. It's really waste of money.

Naris Up Acmedica Medicated Spots Acne

I have just bought this pimple gel few weeks ago from Watsons at the price of RM46.90. I would say this is a lousy gel for me. It doesn't make the acne subside. The size is still the same even the next day compared to some other pimple gels which can make your acnes subside the next day.

The gel is transparent. It gives you a bit of minty feeling when you apply it on your acnes/pimples. It doesn't dry up your skin like some of the pimple gels. I think it is too mild for my liking. I need to reapply it quite often. I'm kind of dissappointed with this pimple gel because it's expensive yet not effective.

I won't repurchase this pimple gel anymore. I think i need to search for a new pimple gel.

Have You Heard of Monrose?

Have anyone of you heard of Monrose skin care? I have been looking for more information about this skincare products but i couldn't find any except for the malaysia's website. Many people said the products are from Germany but there isn't any website that able to prove that this product is indeed from Germany.

This product seems to be very good for oily and pimply skin but i dare not buy because i am not sure what are the real ingredients behind this skincare products. Though the malaysia's website stated that Monrose's products are made of natural plant extract but i don't think it's that simple. I think too many hidden information.

Should i buy some of the products and try? Will it be too risky for my sensitive skin? The products are not cheap. All are above RM100. Must think carefully before you make any purchase. At least they should have sample trial pack for curious people like me to try.

Exfoliater: Yubiki Brand

I bought this jar of exfoliator from a japanese shop in the shopping complex. I am not gonna to give thumbs up for this exfoliator because it sucks!.


To me it doesn't exfoliate to remove the dead cells from my skin. Usually, after using the exfoliater like Dr. Jart Peeling gel, my face will free smooth and squeaky clean because it really removes all th dead cells from my skin.

But this jar of exfoliator doesn't work that way. When you rub it on your skin, it seems like there are some dead cells being removed but to me, it's more like the gel is clumping together forming tiny particles which look like dead cells. I do not have the squeaky clean feeling after using it. In fact, the difference is the same before and after using it.

Therefore, i won't repurchase this exfoliator anymore. Must quickly finish using it because it's not cheap. It's around RM30++ per jar. I need to search for another brand.

Aloe Vera Gel

I love to use aloe vera gel whenever i have pimples or acnes on my face. Compare to other pimple gels in the market, aloe vera gel is harsh at all to our skin. Though it takes some time to reduce the swollen / inflamation but it is still very effective. Your skin won't be drying too when use aloe vera gel on the face. I love to apply aloe vera gel on my face before i go to bed at night.

As i am sleeping in an air conditioned room, aloe vera gel can prevent dryness on my skin. Another thing, my face is not that oily anymore after getting up in the morning.

I think aloe vera gel can be found in many pharmacies. Or you can even do it yourself provided you have aloe vera plant at home. If you want to buy aloe vera gel, make sure it does not contain any perfume / flavoring.

Skin79 Absolute Total

I have tried skin79 Absolute total bb cream. What is the difference between Skin79 absolute total and skin79 hotpink ? Skin79 Absolute total is thicker than hotpink. It's not easy to apply compare to hotpink. As for the coverage, i think both are quite the same. Not much different for me. It just that absolute total has higher spf which is 37++ . I have forgotten what is the spf for hotpink.

Both are good to me because both do not cause any breakouts on my face.

Review: Rice Day Soap

I always love to buy skincare online because i'm always looking for the best skincare for myself and also riceball.

Most of the products which i have bought, i am quite satisfied with them except for rice day soap. Soaps made in Korea. But the quality is the same as Lux. Not only the texture, the smell is also the same as Lux !

It has three flavours. Rice, pumpkin and green bean. I thought different flavour will have different smell but i was wrong. They have the same smell. To me, the effect is also same as Lux. It's not recommended to be used on your face unless your face is extremely oily or you like to have 'squeaky' clean face...

It's a total dissappointment for me. In terms of soap, i think i prefer cyleina soaps from Philipines. Your face doesn't feel dry and your face still feel moist after using it.

Dr. Jart Pore-X Peeling Gel

I love to use peeling gel once a while because it really can remove the dead skin on your face leaving your skin soft a smooth.

Recently i bought a peeling gel online called Dr. Jart Pore-X Peeling Gel. What i like about this peeling gel is, it doesn't cause any sensitivity to my skin compared to Laneige strawberry yogurt peeling gel. It doesn't have nice sweet smelling smell like Laneige. In fact, it doesn't have any smell at all. It's not too harsh on your skin too. Usually after using peeling gel, definitely one or two pimples will pop out on my skin but this Dr.Jart Pore-X Peeling Gel doesn't cause any bumps on my face.

This peeling gel is suitable for sensitive skin as i have sensitive skin too.

Review: Cyleina Soap~Black Pearl

I have tried Ah Yuan organic soap from Taiwan and now i am using cyleina organic soap from Philippines. I have only tried one of the most famous flavour which is black pearl soap which is for face.

I like this soap. It doesn't dry your skin at all. It doesn't make your skin feels tight after using it. It helps in whitening but until now i don't seem any fairer. Maybe because i have only used it for 3-4 times.

It doesn't have any strong smell like Ah Yuan organic soap which has very strong herbal smell. It's quite expensive for its size. RM18 per bar. It's only 45 gram. But i am sure you can find cheaper seller online which i am looking for now.

Next, i will try its rice bran soap. They say it's very good for skin whitening. must give it a try tonight.

I think i'm into organic soaps now.

Review: Skin79 Oxygen Mask

I have bought a bottle of Skin79 detoxifying Oxygen mask. all you need to do is to apply the cream on your face. Then you will feel some tingling sensation on your face. You can see bubble foam forming on your face. I don't see much bubble foam on my face though. Maybe i put too little.

After 10 minutes, you just need to wash it off with lukewarm water. You will see that your skin is fairer. But the fairness is only temporary effect. After a while, you will go back to your normal skin tone. Abit disappointed. The purpose of this mask is not for whitening i guess... It's more for supplying oxygen to your face. Once your face has enough oxygen, then it won't look so dull anymore. That is only my opinion.

I have already used a few times. But each time i only use a small amount. That's why not much bubble foam forming on my face. Will try to use more next time. At least no pimple pop up after using this product.

Review: SKIN79 Hot Pink BB Cream

Recently i have bought a bottle of BB cream online. BB cream here means blemish balm cream which acts like a liquit foundation but it's better than foundation because it doesn't only hide blemishes but help to whiten your skin, heal pimple scars and even has UV protection.

What i like about this SKIN79 BB cream is, its texture is very light. It's very easy to apply. Even a person like me who doesn't know how to put on foundation can easily apply it on my face evenly. You don't need to use a lot, a small amount will do to cover the whole face. For me, it not able to hide scars that are too dark.

Its coverage not as good as foundation. If you want better coverage, you can apply BB cream and then only apply another layer of powder foundation. That will be perfect.

The color of this BB cream is quite light. After putting on the BB cream, you will see that your face will be fairer but after a while, it blends with your skin color. But i'm not sure whether it able to blend well if you have dark skin. You can apply a bit on your face and see before applying the whole face.

Though it says that it helps in controlling oil secretion but my face still feel oily after 4 hours later. I still need to blot my face with tissue.

If you apply BB cream everyday, it will able to improve your overall skin texture. I'm not sure about this because i only apply whenever i go out during the weekend.

Ah Yuan Handmade Organic Soap

Ah Yuan handmade organic soap is a Taiwan brand soap. These soaps are made from herbs and it's organic. So many people rave about it so i also bought two of these soap and give it a try. It's not cheap at all. It costs me about RM29++ for a bar of soap.

Two of the soaps which i have bought are 'si zhen' and mung bean soap. I bought them online from an online seller. I think she is a good seller because i received my order the next day after i made my payment. This is what i call good online seller.

What i think about this soap? Both of the soaps have very strong herbs' smell. I can tolerate and i quite like the smell. I use mung bean soap as facial wash and frankly speaking it does control the oil secretion on my face. It's not suitable for dry skin people at all. Many people say mung bean has whitening effect and can lighten the pigmentation & freckles but i am not sure whether i have turn fairer or not. I am still continue using now.

As for the other soap, 'si zhen', i don't find anything special about this soap. Though it is highly recommended by the seller. It doesn't have any effect on me. I use it as body wash.

Will i buy it again, probably yes and probably no. Probably yes for mung bean soap only because it's not cheap for a bar of soap.

Mask Review: Shiseido Black Masks

Shiseido black mask is actually a peel-off mask. apply on your skin and wait for it to dry and then peel it off.

It's really suitable for oily skin like me. I like to use shiseido black mask as nose mask because it really can help me to remove the blackheads and my pores do look a bit smaller too. Of course, in order to have clearner looking nose, you need to use a few times. But at times, i also apply on my whole face when i am pimple-free. I love to see the blackheads and whiteheads sticking on the mask when you peel it off from your face. .... heheh

Shiseido black mask comes in small packet only. If your face is small, you can use at least 2 times per packet. I usually use 2 times per packet. And i use 2 times per week.

After peeling off the masks, you can put some toner and moisturizer to tighten your pores and moisten your skin.

But always remember, never ever apply on pimples as it might cause inflamation and also sensitive skin.

Even riceball also likes to use it.

Review: Beauty Diary Mask ~Black Pearl

I have been using masks for quite some time. Yesterday was the first time using beauty diary mask ~ black pearl. The purpose of this mask is for whitening effect.

Actually, i don't feel much different after using the mask. Maybe there is some teeny weeny whitening effect on me. I do feel my skin feel smoother in the morning. To me, this mask is just so so for me. Maybe i have just used it once. Must use a few times to see the effect.

It's not very good to have immediate effect just by one application. It's dangerous too. It shows that the chemical usage is very high.

Will i continue to use? Yes, i will. Maybe after using it for some time, i might turn fairer.. :)

Mask Review: My Scheming Beauty Birdnest + Collagen

Birdnest + collagen mask is one of my favourite mask. To me, this mask is suitable for all skin type especially dry skin because it not only consists of birdnest but also cucumber extract which can help in moistening your skin.

When i put on the masks, i don't feel any tingling sensation like how i felt when i put on All-in-collagen masks from dainty design. Maybe because it's milder. The effect isn't very distinct when you remove the mask, but i feel my skin is a bit more supple.

Q10 + Collagen

Recently we can see there are many skin care products even facial masks consists of Q10 and collagen. We know that skincare products which consists of Q10 and collagen are very good to fight aging process.

Q10 is one of the essential cogs in the biochemical machineary that produces biological energy inside the cells. Second, C0Q10 is an antioxidant. Therefore, it helps neutralize harmful free radicals which are one of the causes of aging. As we grow older, level of Q10 starts to decrease and when it reaches its lowest peak, resulting in lesser ability to produce collagen, elastin and other important skin molecules.

Collagen which is found in skin tissue are important for skin strength and elasticity. As this collagen break down, it causes skin to lost its suppleness and we begin to get wrinkles and our skin starts to sag.

From here we know that, in order to prevent sagging skin and wrinkles, we need to have Q10. With Q10, we body able to produce collagen. And with collagen we able to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin.

Review: My Scheming Beauty Pearl Extract

Recently i have used a lot of facial masks. The purpose of using the facial masks are to test out the quality and also the effect they have towards the face before selling them to my customers. At least you can explain to them better the effect after using the facial masks.

Let me review about Pearl Extract Mask. I quite like this mask. It doesn't have those tingling sensation when you use the mask compared to using red wine polyphenol mask. It can be absorbed well by my face.

Your face feels moist and fairer after using it. Therefore, it is highly recommended to those with dry skin. It doesn't dry your skin at all.

Mask Review: Dainty Design Masks

I have used beauty diary, my scheming beauty and also dainty design masks. Among all the masks, the masks which i do not like most should be dainty design masks. Well, i don't like it not because the quality is not good, but because of the masks' smell. The smell is too strong for my liking. The quality of the masks frankly speaking is good especially the All-in-1 collagen. It really helps to brighten up and firmed you skin. I can see a bit of its effect after using it for one day. Luckily All-in-1 collagen masks for dainty design doesn't have strong smell. But for the rest of the masks, the smell is really very strong. Maybe because i have sensitive nose, that's why i can't stand the smell.

But if you all really want to give it a try, then give All-in-1 collagen masks a try. It's highly recommended.

Review: My Scheming Beauty Mask

I think many of you have not heard of My Scheming Beauty Mask. All of us mainly know beauty diary masks. It's because beauty diary masks get a lot of publicity from Taiwan Media so they are more well-known compared to my scheming beauty masks.

Frankly speaking, i prefer My Scheming Beauty Mask. So does my customers. Firstly, it's more affordable compared to Beauty Diary Mask. Many of my customers have seen the effect on their faces after using the mask especially Q10 collagen masks. It has received a lot of positive feedback from my customers.

Review: Rice wash-off mask

Rice wash-off mask is one of the best selling mask in Skin Food. It is not only a wash-off mask but you can use it as an exfoliater because it has tiny rice granules in it. After putting on the mask for many 5-10 minutes, before washing off, you can gently massage the mask on your face to exfoliate your skin. It can help to remove dead cell on your face. The granules are very tiny that it won't be too harsh on your face. After washing it off, you can feel that your face is smooth and supple. You will even look a bit fairer.

But the price for this wash-off mask is not cheap. If i am not mistaken, it's around RM40++.
